There are some spare parts used in a flame spray gun and these are-
Wire comes first in the siphon plug and then in the nozzle, it completely holds the wire. The siphon plug should be cleaned occasionally. Wipe out the grooves and clean out the holes with the proper size wires from the cleaning wire kit. Do not wash the o-rings with a cleaning solvent. Examine them for damage and replace them if required. Do not stretch new o-rings more than necessary. Lubricate all o-rings before reassembling the siphon plug.
In the flame spray gun, there is a nozzle after siphon plug. Whenever a nozzle is put on the gun, the bore of the siphon plug should be wiped clean and put on the nozzle O-rings. The nozzle nut must be tight on the siphon plug. Firm tightening by hand is sufficient. Overtightening the nozzle nut can cause damage. Clean jet holes with the proper size wire from the cleaning wire kit. From the back end, blow out the holes with compressed air.
Nozzle nut is bolted after nozzle .this is used for tightly hold the nozzle in the gun body and completely fit the wire.
Air cap is fitted after the nozzle nut, this is a front tip or cover of the gun.
The O ring is a rubber part which prevents the leakage in the gun.
The front end hardware includes the siphon plug, nozzle, nozzle nut, air cap, and air cap body. The wire passes through the center of these parts.
The siphon plug, nozzle, and air cap are determined by the spraying application.
Front end hardware selection is determined by combustion gas, wire size, wire type and the duration of continuous spraying (e.g., part size).
• The hardware is intended for spraying large areas where the wire is continuously fed.
• Short-duration spraying (start-stop operation) may lead to the loading of material inside the air cap. Non-loading air caps are intended to minimize material loading.
• Softer wire, with a lower melting point (e.g., babbit, tin, etc.), may tend to “stick” in the nozzle during start-stop operation(short duration spraying). Where recommended in the spray parameters, a non-loading nozzle should always be used. The spray rate with a non-loading nozzle will be somewhat less than with a standard sand blasting nozzle.
• Flame spray air caps give a broad, flat spray pattern and may be oriented horizontally, vertically or at any angle.
• All hardware uses the standard nozzle nut (12E6) and air cap body (11E1).
Shot Blaster is the leading manufacturer, supplier, and exporter of different types of sand blasting machine which is used for a variety of metals for cleaning, finishing, and smoothing. Also provide air blast equipment for precision surface finishing of all shapes and sizes.
